Are y’all finding this 60 Day Coach Challenge to be a helpful tool to keep you accountable and motivated?  Are you starting to appreciate the BAT as a barometer of your consistency and effort?  Are you here EVERY DAY??  Are you being a good accountability partner and making sure your team is staying plugged in??

Did you spend time thinking about INVITING yesterday?  Do you have a plan to implement it as a DAILY habit?  John C. Maxwell says, “Consistency wins the day”.  So simple.  Not sexy.  Yet it proves to be true time and time again.  Darren Hardy starts Chapter 1 of The Compound Effect discussing consistency, and how a series of right choices EVERY DAY over a long period of time is what makes you an “overnight success”.  If you want to win at this, you need to be in the habit of inviting EVERY DAY.  Slow and steady wins the race.

Now for today’s assignment = let’s talk a little more about the other 2 VITAL BEHAVIORS =

2: Be Proof the Products Work. You can’t expect someone to join a Challenge Group or respond to your invitation if you’re not in one yourself and if you are not on a fitness journey of your own. You don’t have to have an amazing transformation story; you just need to be on your journey.  What Challenge Group are you in?  Are you using a fitness program EVERY DAY and Shakeology EVERY DAY?  I do!  And that’s why I have credibility and confidence in talking to others about what it has done for me.  Do you struggle with being a product of the product or with your confidence in recommending Beachbody to others?

3: Personal Development. To improve your business you need to improve yourself. That’s why we started with reading The Compound Effect every day. What page are you on?  Post something in the comments below that you’ve underlined in The Compound Effect that has really stuck with you.  Are you finding it helpful so far?  Find bits of time each day to read, and when you can’t read, go over what you’ve learned in your head and really let those thoughts crystallize into VISION!

Print off the 3 Vital Behaviors PDF that is found in the Coach Online Office and post it where you will see it every day.

Elite coach tip (from Brian Nopper)

“Consistency”…probably the most important element of success in this business. I re-read Chapter 1 of The Compound Effect this morning and then listened to that audio of it on my commute. I’ve read and listened to this dozens of times. Maybe I’m a slow learner, but I find that if you want to truly understand and become an expert at something you need to do it repeatedly. Every time I read it I generate new thoughts and ideas because of the life experiences that I’ve had since the last time I read it.

This morning’s thoughts were about how I’ve changed my mindset and approach for running my business over the past 2 years. I’ll try to be brief.

Last year, I went FULL THROTTLE! I was an inviting machine, had 20-40 SC points per month and my volume was usually between 1,000 and 3,500 each week. My “dream big” goal was to qualify as an Elite Coach. Consistency, discipline and very little sleep helped me achieve that goal. In the end I was pretty burnt out.

This year, I realized that type of INTENSE consistency was not sustainable if I wanted to keep my life in balance. Building a better life with my family is end game, so keeping life in balance outweighs the full throttle approach for me. So, I set goals that would hold me accountable, keep me CONSISTENT, motivate me, continue to grow my business, and be sustainable for the long term. I keep it simple…SC10 every month, no excuses. And my business is still growing every week.

Bottom line, you do not have to be a ROCK STAR in this business to be successful. Ch 1, first sentence: “Slow and steady wins the race”. Tortoise or the hare? Last year I was a trying to be a “hare”, this year I’m a “tortoise”.

“I’ll win because of the positive habits I’ve developed, and because of the consistency I use in applying those habits” – true statement

Not all coaches will be ROCK STARS, so It’s important to train yourself and your coaches, congratulate them, and make them feel successful for being a “tortoise” in this race. The “hares” will emerge on their own. They won’t need much of your help.  Even the tortoises will have the business of their dreams … as long as they don’t quit!!!

Above all, you need to stay CONSISTENT.  That is all. Have a great day!
